Viberti Giovanni Buon Padre Barolo

The dense, forward palate doles out juicy black cherry, star anise, tobacco and an earthy hint of game while velvety tannins give it a smooth, polished texture. Mitolo Jester Shiraz

A lot of love goes into our wines, and our Jester Shiraz is no exception. The vineyards for the Jester Shiraz are located at the southern end of McLaren Vale, close to the seaside town of Aldinga. The combination of cool sea breezes and gully winds provide ideal conditions for growing fruit of intensity and balance. The vines sit in heavy clay, which gives the wine powerful dark fruit flavours. Ideal conditions in 2014 produced an exceptional Shiraz that speaks of its origin. Full flavoured, with dark fruits and savoury black olive characters, and soft, silky tannins.

Yal Yal Road Pinot Noir

A very aromatic, bright and complex wine in which raspberry, strawberry and red cherry flavours predominate. The long palate is rich and textured and the tannins tight and balanced. Alcohol: 13.5%

Rymill The Surveyor Cabernet Sauvignon

The nose has complex layers of dark cherries, cassis, mocha and mint chocolate. As promised by its appearance, the wine is intense yet bright and generous in its complexity of flavours, with plums, star anise and fennel seed. The voluptuous middle palate, abundant in fruit and elegantly structured by the oak and tannins, offers to linger in a long, convincing after taste. Enjoy this wine on its own, or with food but careful cellaring for ten to twenty years will reward those with patience. Haliday says: ‘As compelling as it is commanding. Primary reds fruits, white florals and tropical stone fruits leap out of the glass. Like all great vineyard sites, this block’s expression of rich fruit and ripe, supple tannins result from the interaction between two key variables: soil and microclimate. Red clay loam topsoil overlying massive clay with bluestone at depth allow the creation of naturally low yields with intensive flavours.
