Kay brothers Basket Press Grenache

8.28 tonnes of Grenache grapes were hand harvested on the 18th March. Soils are shallow red sandy loam overquartz gravel and ironstone. Grapes were open fermented and hand plunged for 13days on skins, prior to traditional Basket pressing. The wine matured a further 9 months in aged Frenchoak puncheons. Nose: Pretty aromatic notes of rose petal, strawberries and Morello cherry. Palate: A lively and moorish wine filled with juicy red berry fruits, fine textured tannin and refreshing acidity. Fresh, tasty and delicious.

Capa Tempranillo

Capa is a modern wine, created for a new generation of consumers. The wine is made from the region's indigenous tempranillo grapes combines with the latest vinfication techniques to achieve an elegant modern wine. The wine has an intense dark red color with hints of wild berries on the nose. One the palate the wine is very rich and juicy in fruit flavors with soft velvet tannins. To be enjoyed with meat dishes, BBQ's and cheeses or simply open a bottle and enjoy on its own.

Mitolo Jester Shiraz

A lot of love goes into our wines, and our Jester Shiraz is no exception. The vineyards for the Jester Shiraz are located at the southern end of McLaren Vale, close to the seaside town of Aldinga. The combination of cool sea breezes and gully winds provide ideal conditions for growing fruit of intensity and balance. The vines sit in heavy clay, which gives the wine powerful dark fruit flavours. Ideal conditions in 2014 produced an exceptional Shiraz that speaks of its origin. Full flavoured, with dark fruits and savoury black olive characters, and soft, silky tannins.

Mitolo Jester Cabernet Sauvignon

Bright and fresh with signature Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics of red capsicum, menthol, violet and mixed herbs. Full bodied and mouth filling with juicy red cherry, blackcurrant and cassis, intertwined with savoury dark chocolate and tobacco. The Amarone component adds to a textured finish with great length and savoury tannin

Ministry Of Clouds Shiraz

Includes 20% whole bunch with maturation taking place in old French oak barriques for 11 months. Totally opaque inky black core with a dark crimson black hue. Nosing delivers a perfumed sniff of liquorice and blackberries infused with violets followed by dark plum, vanillin cedar and some spearmint. Medium to full bodied with abundant richness yet a refined sleekly textured mouthfeel the palate possesses flavours of liquorice, dark chocolate and blackberries intermixed with some earthy dried meat characters and vanillin oak. Slightly dryish on the finish with very fine grained verging on velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, blackberries, subtle liquorice, earth and vanillin cedar. Cellar 5-6 years. Alc 14.1%

Elderton Merlot

Elderton Shiraz

The vintage was outstanding with wines ripening before sugar levels became excessive. The wines of 2014 show great intensity and suppleness. Style Full bodied, rich, classic Colour A rich and vibrant dark purple Aroma Black forest fruits, chocolate, vanilla Palate Plum and berries, chocolate and a spice finish. Cellaring Drink now or cellar confidently for 10 - 15 years from vintage

Smidge La Grenouille Cabernet Sauvignon

As soon as this wine is poured into the glass the colour is black to the core, with aromas of red/black fruits especially blackcurrants with an attractive ash note, a subtle herbal lift with cedar and char. Once on the palate this wine is full of lively red fruits and blackcurrants, chocolate and ash. The finish is long and juicy balanced by firm fine tannins.
