Santa & D'sas Rosato

TASTING NOTE SANTA & D’SAS Rosato has been made to reflect the Sangiovese varietal expression of this wine style. A vibrant nose offers up strawberries, rose petal with a hint of spicy cinnamon. Intense flavours of sweet cherry and raspberries are intertwined with candied peel and finishes with a hint of pink peppercorn. The palate extends to a dry, textural yet balanced finish. Longview Boatshed Nebbiolo Rosato

With a wonderful salmon, pink colour and slightly orange hue the 2016 Nebbiolo Rosato shows lifted orange peel, ripe peach and musk aromas. The palate has mouth filling maraschino cherry, pink grapefruit and musk with crisp acidity and a long fresh finish.

Tournon Mathilda Chapoutier Rose

Light with a fresh rounded textural feel the palate has flavours of red cherries, raspberries and musk with a dry spicy finish. Bright lively acidity with an aftertaste of raspberries, red cherries and spicy musk.

Poggiotondo Toscana Sangiovese Rosato

Black cherries on the nose, with some spiciness from the Syrah.

Pittnauer Rose

This savoury Austrian expression of the blaufränkisch variety has a nutty and marginally confectionery bouquet of red cherries and flowers backed by a hint of cranberry and marzipan. It’s long, smooth and savoury, with juicy, almost sour-edged raspberry and red cherry fruit punctuated by refreshingly bright acids and underscored by a fine, dusty extract.

Chateau la Gordonne Cote de Provence Rose

Made from the classic Provence rosé blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. It has a generous bouquet with aromas of ripe red fruits, such as fresh strawberry, and notes of blackcurrant and violet. The palate again shows red fruit but this time with grapefruit and other citrus; there’s a touch of richness on the finish.

Bouchard Aine & Fils Rose

Colour: a beautiful clear rosé with purplish tints. Nose: fruity with hints of gooseberry and citrus fruits. Palate: slightly acidic for optimum freshness. Pleasantly soft in the mouth and easy to drink.
