This wine displays outstanding aromatic lift and fruit Intensity. The aromatic profile is dominated by traditional citrus influence of lemon and lime combined with green apple, jasmine, musk and a tropical lift of passionfruit and honeydew. The palate emulates the nose and shows even more citrus with grapefruit bursting from the mid-palate. The wine has a highly textured mouthfeel, fresh acidity and great length. Drink now as a young aromatic white or cellar for 10+ years.

Bouquet - Bright, lifted aromatics of Jasmine/lemon blossom and lime zest sit alongside fresh red apple - an appealing invitation to explore this wine further. Notes of minerality compliment the predominantly citrus fruit profile. Palate - Made from 100% free run juice, the palate of the 2016 Joshua Tree is fine and full of bright citrus flavours hints of minerality. Those zesty, floral notes from the nose fill out in the mouth in a real explosion of primary fruit and the natural acidity is restrained providing tongue tingling freshness. The wine finishes with bright, finely boned acidity with lingering lemon and lime fruit.

Longview Queenie Pinot Grigio

Grown on a south-western slope atop the Longview estate, this Pinot Grigio shows all the hallmarks of a traditional Italian style. The 2016 vintage yielded a bumper crop of pristine fruit which produced the clean, varietal Pinot Grigio we love. By picking in early morning we preserved some very delicate fruit flavours in the grape berries. The aromas lift out of the glass in an instant and the most evident are pear, orange blossom and quince. The palate shows more restraint with slight apple, nashi pear and lemon zest flavours while the natural acidity keeps the finish crisp and tangy

Craiglee Chardonnay

Craiglee Chardonnay is recognisable for its simple elegance and its purity of flavour which respects the fruit we grow on our river flats. In the winery we ferment and nurture the wine in French oak barrels to maintain the characteristics of the grapes in the paddock We see aromas of stone fruits and passionfruit, creamy oak overtones and pleasing mouthfeel.

Torzi Matthews Frost Dodger Riesling

Hand picked whole bunch pressed and free run only. Natural cold settling for 12 days then racked with little solids remaining for wild yeast ferment at low temperature for 6 weeks continuing with lees aging for 8 weeks for added texture, weight and complexity. Expect high tone aromatics of white stone fruits, white flowers & lime. The real star is the palate which reveals all of the aromatics but sears with texture, weight & persistence that finishes crisp, dry & long.

Voyager Chenin Blanc

The Chenin Blanc vineyards were harvested from 25 February to 3 March 2015 during the cool night conditions. The fruit was delivered to the winery for immediate pressing to ensure the aromatics were preserved. Once pressed the juice was settled to aid clarification over three days, prior to racking and innoculation with selected yeast strain QA23. Alcoholic fermentation took 19 days at 14°C. Once completed, the wine was left on yeast lees for four weeks with regular stirring to enhance the textural components of the palate. Filtration and bottling took place on 20 July 2015.

Pacha mama Riesling

Grapes were harvested in the cool of the dawn, crushed and pressed. The juice was cold settled for 48 hours before being racked off solids and directly inoculated with a selection of aromatic yeast strains. Cold tank fermentation was undertaken between 11-14°c. Pressings were fermented separately and excluded from the final blend for fining and cold stabilisation. Colour: Vibrant pale straw.Nose: Lifted aromatics punctuated with kaffir limes, creamed honey and fresh linen. Palate: Juicy, fresh and clean, this winehas a lovely textural palate balanced by grapefruit, lemongrass and a long satisfying finish. Winemakers: Nina Stocker and Callie Jemmeson.

Xanadu Exmoor Chardonnay

COLOR Pale straw NOSE The bouquet of this elegant, yet powerful Chardonnay offers nashi pears, grapefruit and gala apples with underlying hints of nougat and cashew. PALATE The palate is medium bodied displaying white fleshed stone fruits and zesty citrus flavours. The taut mineral backbone is complimented by a lovely creamy/marshmallow texture derived from lees stirring whilst in barrel. Fine and fresh, the bright fruit and crisp acidity combine to focus the wine perfectly to a lingering fruit finish. A modern style of Chardonnay, displaying classic Margaret River hallmarks. The 2015 Exmoor Chardonnay is a wine which, while drinking well in its youth will reward with careful cellaring. 93 points HUON HOOKE THE REAL REVIEW This is so sensitively oaked it could even be unwooded, so clearly does the superbly fresh, vibrant, citrusy fruit soar. Intense, firm and bracing, with rapier-like thrust and great focus. Beautiful now, but it will also keep. (Screwcap)
