Buller Wines Fine Old Muscat
Deep sienna brown colour with olive hue. Lifted nose, with aroma of honey, ripe raisins, hints of toffee and fine old brandy spirit. The palate is rich with luscious honeyed raisin flavours dominant, followed by a layer of spice and orange rind. Clean finish, with long aftertaste of honey, raisins, toffee and orange marmalade.
Description
Established in Rutherglen in 1921 by Reginald Langdon Buller, the century old ‘Calliope Vineyard’ was named after the only surviving ship from the Great Hurricane of Samoa – Reginald’s vision of his new enterprise successfully sailing through the tempests of business and agricultural life proved prophetic. After almost 100 years Buller Wines is testament to the foresight of Reginald and is a leading winery within North East Victoria. The Buller’s name has long been associated with some of Rutherglen’s finest fortifieds, a treat many can still enjoy today thanks to our vast inherited collection of premium barrel-aged fortifieds.
