Description
The origin of the DUSSOURT family dates back to the 17th century when an officer of Louis XIV, originally from LA VALETTE near Toulouse, settled in Châtenois as a royal notary and innkeeper.
Almost a hundred years later, his great-grandson, François-Xavier DUSSOURT, acquired a wine estate in Blienschwiller and then signed the birth of Domaine DUSSOURT.
In 1964, André and Francine DUSSOURT bought the Maison BLEGER in Scherwiller in order to start marketing the wines of Domaine DUSSOURT in the bottle. They were joined by their son Paul in 1987 who took over the management of the estate in 1996 with the ambition of modernizing the estate and bringing it fully into the 21st century.
