Domaine Gérard Duplessis is a family run cellar today managed by Lilian Duplessis with each vineyard worked in accordance to organic farming since 2007 and all vineyards used for village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru wines are on the famous Kimmeridgian limestone, Duplessis’ 1er Cru Montmains is sourced from four lieu-dits (parcels) with an average age of 60 years old. The upper part of Vaillons produces more racy, classically-styled Chablis with the lower sections offering fatter, more voluptuous wines. Lilians plots come from a cross section of four lieu-dits on both upper and lower parts of the slope making this a quintessential Vaillons.
