Each year Wilma would make Christmas puddings on Victoria Derby Day while the rest of the family watched the races. So a couple of years ago, on Derby Day, Cam put some puds made to her recipe in the botanical basket of Wilma (our still) and distilled a gin. He was also working on a gin aged in our collection of 80-year-old muscat barrels. So he decided to blend these together and add a tweak of Classic Rutherglen Muscat. The result smells like gin and tastes like Christmas. Nose: This gin has juniper-led Christmas tree notes with rich spices, concentrated dried fruits and a hint of cinnamon.Palate & finish: To make this special annual release Cam distils Christmas puddings, and then ages this gin in 100-year-old Muscat barrels, adding a tweak of Rutherglen Muscat before bottling. The result is a rich palate of plum pudding character with a hint of sweetness from the Muscat
