Passing Clouds Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir
This is a fairly light bodied pinot, displaying bright varietal red fruits and perfume nuances. With developing aromas of spice along a vegetative complexity, this Passing Clouds pinot has a juicy palate, delivering a good combination of thyme, savoury meat qualities, and the fruit flavours of raspberry, and cherry on the front palate, backed up by fine but firm tannins to produce a lingering finish
Like all traditional cultures; stories being passed down from generation to generation are imperative. The wine culture thrives on this and it is with great pride that Cameron Leith has been part of the winemaking at Passing Clouds since the time he could walk. He has followed in his Father’s footsteps, to uphold the specific style of Passing Clouds that became available to the public in 1980.
