Vigneti Zabu Chiantari Nero D’avola
Amazingly aromatic with velvety blackberry fruits, mocha and spicy, earthy tones that flow onto the palate with lovely soft mouth feel and balance. Fine silky tannins close its persistent flavourings.
It matches perfectly with red meat courses and game. Excellent with typical Italian and Sicilian recipes.
The Chiantari Nero d’Avola by Vigneti Zabu / Farnese, grows in Sambuca di Sicilia, in the southwest of the island. The Nero d’Avola is considered the highest quality of the native grape varieties of Sicily and gives, as in this case, supple red wines with full body. The Chiantari is intense fruity, cherries, plums, blueberries and a delicate balsamic touch completes the bouquet. On the palate, it is expressive, very supple on the palate and has an immense length in the soft final. Excellent and keeps up with significantly more expensive wines.
