Very deep, red/purple glass-staining colour. Dried herb aromas including bayleaf and brown spices, the palate massively proportioned and alcoholic, the aftertaste more like that of a brandy than a red table wine. It is certainly concentrated and the tannins are luxuriously supple, but the alcohol is too much for me, even at cool-ish winter temperature.

Wild Duck Creek Estate is a small family owned winery situated in Heathcote, Victoria.
We are dedicated to producing wines of the highest quality, giving the utmost enjoyment to our customers all over the world.
We began with two small vineyards, the Alan’s Cabernet vineyard and the Original Vineyard located at the winery.
