A focused, dry-grown Swan Valley white from Rob and Genevieve Mann. Bright, textured and full of energy, it combines green apple and citrus with classic Chenin waxiness, savoury detail and a long saline finish.
Rob and Genevieve Mann have established Corymbia as a benchmark for modern Western Australian Chenin Blanc. Their approach captures the natural freshness, texture and longevity of the variety while expressing the distinctive warmth and character of the Swan Valley.
The fruit comes from the Mann family’s dry-grown Rocket’s Vineyard, named after Rob’s father, legendary Australian Test cricketer Tony “Rocket” Mann. The site was planted by father and son more than 30 years ago and now produces concentrated old-vine fruit with remarkable freshness.
Despite the Swan Valley’s warm Mediterranean climate, the 2025 vintage retained impressive crunch, tension and purity.
The wine was fermented with wild yeast, matured with a small amount of old oak and given extended time on lees. This restrained approach builds texture and personality while preserving the vineyard’s bright fruit and mineral drive.
Green apple, lemon zest, lime, pear and white peach lead the aromatic profile, with hints of citrus blossom, honeysuckle and a subtle savoury herbal note.
The palate is bright and plush at once, with vibrant acidity, classic Chenin waxiness and a delicate chalky texture. Citrus and orchard fruit flow into a long, dry finish marked by sea spray, salinity and fine mineral detail.
A versatile match for freshly shucked oysters, grilled prawns, snapper, roast chicken, summer salads or a relaxed barbecue.
