This is a fairly light bodied pinot, displaying bright varietal red fruits and perfume nuances. With developing aromas of spice along a vegetative complexity, this Passing Clouds pinot has a juicy palate, delivering a good combination of thyme, savoury meat qualities, and the fruit flavours of raspberry, and cherry on the front palate, backed up by fine but firm tannins to produce a lingering finish

xEstablished in 1974 by Graeme Leith and Sue McKinnon, Passing Clouds is a family-run winery in central Victoria. Today, Graeme’s son Cameron has full rein of Passing Clouds and works on the family’s Macedon Ranges vineyard, Musk.
Musk is a classic cool-climate site, and as the highest vineyard in the Macedon Ranges, it experiences snow yearly. This vineyard is, therefore, dedicated to the traditional cool-climate wine varieties, including pinot noir and chardonnay.
