Tasting Notes

A punchy aroma of spice with red and black fruits leads to a savoury palate of intense cherry, blackberry, and plum. Hints of leather and tobacco from the new oak carry through to fine-grained tannins and good length.

Viticulture & Winemaking

From an elevated, well-drained Yarra Valley site, the fruit was gently picked and separated into whole-berry or whole-bunch ferments. The wine was then racked to puncheons, 25% new oak, for slow ageing.
