Named after – and release during – springtime, this wine is bright and fresh and already drinking beautifully. It’s a blend of different blocks of Chardonnay from our Derwent Valley Estate. 50% was fermented and stored in seasoned Austrian oak foeders. 11% was fermented and stored in new and 2nd fill French oak barrels. 39% was stainless steel fermented and stored. All lots spent time on lees and 50% of the wine has gone through malolactic fermentation.

xOur Chardonnay wonderfully expresses our soil and vintage conditions thanks to gentle handling in the vineyard and winery. Both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are made with a ‘hands off’ approach in the winery. The hallmarks of our Chardonnays are their elegance, glamour and finery. Our vines are influenced by their unique terroir and Tasmania’s long cool growing season, developing grape flavour, tannin physiology and acid balance. Benchmark cool climate Australian Chardonnay.
