Deep, bold purple/red colour, with a lifted perfume typical of Eden Valley, complete with raspberry fruit – a matter of red rather than black fruits. It’s intense and fruit-sweet, lush and rounded, with stacks of flavour but not especially big, nor very tannic. A delightfully lush wine, and classic Eden Valley.

Torbreck is the name of a forest near Inverness, Scotland. You’ll find more than a passing nod to the Celts in our wine naming conventions including this reference to the stone burial grounds on the hills above the Torbreck forest – eerily similar to the rocky outcrops surrounding Greg and Cynthia Knight’s small plot of Shiraz in the Eden Valley.
